Footy, Footy, Footy!

A couple of commisioned works kept me busy late September.....



The first is a drawing/painting of Western Bulldogs forward and The Age columnist, Robert Murphy. The Age sports journalist, Peter Hanlon, kindly asked me to capture 'Bob' in the old fashioned Footscray uniform, which he is fond of. The drawing is to be presented to him as a thank-you present for his great articles scribed over the past 3 years for the newspaper. As a passionate Bulldog supporter, I was more than happy to draw my favourite player!

The second drawing is for Footy Almanack writer Stephen Cooke, a mad (and very happy) Geelong Cat's fan. He asked me to capture the pivotal moment in this year's Grand Final - the "toe-poke" by Matthew Scarlett to Gary Ablett in the final tense moments of the game. I'll be making prints of this for any Cat's fans still glowing after this year's triumph.

Limited edition of 20, signed and numbered.

A3 size digitally printed on 210gsm paper.

gettin' noticed

Time out from the drawing board to scribe some updates.....

I'm delighted to report that my work has been recently featured in Ballarat's THAW magazine, spring edition. Muchos Gratsias to Rohan, who happened across this here page and decided to include me in the 'we just love this' section.
